Modular Safety Pools (MSP):
The perfect fit of the technology and the economy
The foundation of modularity is a unified and trusted layer, and Super nova has built a modular security pool (MSP), which is a key link of DePIN modularity. It enables Super novaL1 to lease its interest-proof security to DIM for security and trust, with Super novaL1 and MSP jointly serving as a trust anchor and unchangeable ledger for all activities within the DIM layer, dApp and L2 layer. The verifier can be incentives by repledtheir Certificate of interest (PoS) security to DIMs and DePIN projects and provide security for the project.
Simply put, the participants of MSP are mainly DIM builders, pledgers and verification providers. The DIM builder can provide off-chain services, data storage, authentication and other modules. The verifier provides the nodes that run these DIM and provide services for the DePIN project, while the pledger obtains the incentive benefits of the above services by entrusting the assets to the verifier.
The operation mechanism of MSP has many similarities with Eigenlayer, but their technical implementation scheme and structure are not the same. As a trust layer originally integrated with the DePIN modular architecture, the DePIN project is more practical for DIM services, which means that the incentives provided by MSP will be richer. At present, Super nova has 6%~11% of the basic income in the node pledge, but with the application of MSP, the superimposed income of Super nova network may reach 20%.
