Unlike blockchain use cases used on chains like DeFi, NFT, GameFi, and others, DePIN must interact with real-world smart devices that generate large amounts of data. The large number of extenlayers from the DePIN technology stack may be difficult for a single team to develop in a holistic way, and this complexity sets a high barrier to entry for builders to try innovative ideas in DePIN.
